The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it can be alarmed regarding the significant number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The assistance place made for intervention activities a large influx of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the office to attend to website all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all customers and raise entry to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
